“The mind divides the world into a million pieces. The heart makes it whole.”
-Stephen Levine
Trauma-aware care centered on presence, spiritual unfolding, and the courageous work of becoming.
Elissa Solari
(Pronounced El-ees-ah OR you can just call me Lisa.)
My work bridges Chinese Medicine and Somatic Therapy, with a focus on how the body speaks through pain, chronic illness, and imbalance. I don’t treat symptoms as enemies to eliminate, but as messages—expressions of the body’s attempt to restore coherence and protect what is sacred within.
Over the past fifteen years, I’ve explored many ways of healing and transforming the consciousness we experience through the body. This path has shown me that true healing is not a single method but a living relationship—one that asks for curiosity, patience, and presence. Each person’s process is unique, and my role is to help you translate the language of your body into understanding and integration.
I partner with people who are ready to live from the inside out. My lens is trauma-responsive, not trauma-centric; we honor what the body has carried while orienting toward who you’re becoming. Through moment-to-moment attunement—pulse and breath, image and meaning—we invite the nervous system to settle and the spirit to speak. Healing, to me, is a creative act of emergence: identity unfolding from presence, purpose moving through matter, and choices that fit the truth of your life right now.
This work is especially supportive for those navigating chronic or recurrent pain, autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, hormonal transitions, fatigue, anxiety, grief, and trauma-related patterns. By working directly with the body, we can shift physiology from survival toward safety and connection, allowing states of pleasure, fluidity, and resilience to emerge.
My approach is creative, relational, and spirit-informed. Healing unfolds through relationship—between practitioner and client, body and mind, symptom and meaning. Through attentive listening and responsive care, I craft each session to address both the physical and the energetic, supporting not only relief but reconnection: to self, to vitality, and to life’s deeper rhythm.
“To be embodied is to have awareness at the deepest layers of our being, as it emerges anew in each moment. In health, we are able to respond and move with fluctuations. To be alive, is to touch into the Spirit within the body and to allow it to move forward in pure authenticity.”

There is a piece of suffering which is a river that flows through the human condition and is part and parcel of our arising itself.
Conscious awakening does not put a final end to suffering, but rather, allows us to bear it in a way that is luminous, generous, and ultimately sacramental. Through our prayers and our presence, we take our part in bearing the cost of this precious divine finitude, in which and through which infinite love is revealed.
What we do know is that great injustice, cruelty, physical pain, or betrayal, when consciously accepted and generously borne, can give rise to a peculiarly luminous and healing quality of love, and that this love radiates out from the site of the pain as a source of healing and hope for the entire cosmos.”
~ Cynthia Bourgeault, from ‘Conscious Suffering’ in ‘Spiritual Practices from the Gurdjieff Work’
